Kerala Ayurveda treatment has treatments for every part of the body. Vasthi is a procedure that is useful for the rectum. Herbal oils and extracts are applied for 5 to 25 days and are effective for numbness, gastric complaints and chronic constipation. Sirovasthi is a treatment for acute headaches, mouth dryness and throat and nostrils dryness. This is done by pouring lukewarm herbal oils for 15 to 60 minutes everyday. Udvarthanam is a treatment done by powder massage and is effective for obesity, skin diseases, etc.

Abhyangam is an oil massage to cure obesity, skin loss and fatigue. Nasyam is a treatment of herbal juices and medicated oils and is effective for mental disorders and skin diseases. Their programs include oil applications, massages, steam baths and internal medicines. Besides these there are numerous Ayurveda treatments to cure the worst cases of health, but consumes more time than the contemporary medicines. But the advantage is that it destroys the root cause of the disease and develops no side effects.
